Primary headache


Talking briefly,this headache occurs when pain related particles( cells) in the body gets active.This can also happen because of chemical I'm balance in the brain.


Now this primary headache is of three types: migraine,cluster headache,tension headache.


Migraine


This type of headache can stay from a few hours to three to four days.According to WHO( World health organisation),migraine is caused by mental and physical disabilities.


It creates a great negative impact on a person's life.It affects the physical,mental as well as financial condition of a person if it continues for a long time.


Cluster headache


This type of headache impacts a person for 40 minutes to 4 hours.It comes to a person suddenly,and can stay for months to years if not treated well.


Sometimes it can happen for 1 to 10 times in a day.


Tension headaches


Tension headache as the name suggests are consequences of taking stress( tension) or overthinking about something.


Normally this headache starts in the evening time and then can carry on.


Tension headaches are episodic( for some time) or chronic also,which stays for a long time.




Secondary headache


This type of headaches generates some factors which activate the nerves of the brain.This factors include drinking alcohol,brain tumour,overdose of medicines etc.


Now this also can be divided into categories:


Rebound headaches


Overdose of medicines used to prevent headache,often leads to head pain known as rebound headache.It can disturb a person for the whole day.


And when the effect of the head pain medicine is over,then this takes even worse form.


Caffeine headache


Use of caffeine lowers the blood circulation in the body and when a person stops taking caffeine ,then sudden increase in blood flow causes this caffeine headache.


Sinus headache


Swelling is caused as a result of sinus,which puts pressure on the back parts of eyes,head and face is known as sinus headache.


Thunderclap headache


This type of headache is also known as sudden headache as it arises suddenly and can stay for 10-30 minutes.But it doesn't create any dangerous panic situations.


Cervicogenic headache


This type of headache starts from the back of the head and spreads all over the head.When nerves and veins of the brain start cramping,then this headache starts.


Stress headache


Headache caused because of any type of stress or tension is known as a stress headache.


Stress is also a reason behind headache after sleep.


Spinal headache


This type of headache is a consequence of cramping in the spine or spinal cord.It can also happen after or during a person standing on his legs.


Exertion headache


Headache after sleep caused as a result of taking stress,tension,over physical load is often known as exertion headache.


Allergic headache


Headache caused due to mycobacterial organisms present in the air( environment) which enters the respiratory system,is known as allergic headache.

Stress


Taking stress pressurizes the mind and body,which gives an invitation to headache after sleep.


To keep away from stress one should meditate for 10-15 everyday.


Weakness


Physical load,tiredness,the run of the whole day,house and office work,often disturbs the mental health of a person which results in headache.


To get relief from weakness,one should practice yoga, meditation regularly as it increases immunity and metabolism.


Lack of sleep


Headache after sleep can be a major reason like sleeplessness.Due to official work load,working late night and asking desktop or mobiles causes sleeplessness which results in physical weakness.

  • Now lift your waist and hips upwards.

  • Keep in this pose for sometime.


Padottanasana


  • Firstly stand in tadasana pose on your yoga mat.

  • Inhale,spread legs 3-4 inch wide.Keep hands on the waist.

  • Bend your upper body downwards slowly.

  • Exhale,lift your hips slowly.

  • Keep hands on the floor and lift your hips even further.

  • Come back to tadasana pose.



Supta Virasana


  • Firstly sit on your knees on your yoga mat.

  • Lay on your back,not completely just slightly in the air.

  • Keep your hands on side .

  • Keep breathing and then come back to normal position after a while.


Viparita


  • Firstly exhale and lay down on your yoga mat with legs facing the wall.

  • Touch the wall with legs and soles facing up.

  • Keep your hips away from wall a bit.

  • Keep waist and hips on floor comfortably.

  • Lift your hips upwards with your hands.

  • Be in this pose for five minutes,then come back to normal position.



Paschimottanasana


  • Sit on your yoga mat with legs in front.

  • Breathe and lift your hands upwards.

  • Exhale and bend towards front.

  • Touch your toes with your hands and feel the stretch.

  • Be in this pose for few minutes and come back to normal position.
